I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in the treatment of children, teens and families. Areas of expertise include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for the treatment of depression, grief, anxiety, ADHD and behavior management. I also provide parenting support.
I earned my doctorate in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002. My internship training was in the Psychology Department of the Cypress-Fairbanks School District in Houston, Texas – serving students with special needs at the elementary, middle and high school level. My postdoctoral training was in a private practice setting in Austin, Texas – serving young victims of abuse and trauma.
I have lived in Jacksonville Beach with my husband and children for 14 years. I was in a large group practice for ten years, providing psychological testing and therapy for children, teens and young adults. In 2018, I opened a small private practice in Ponte Vedra Beach. I truly enjoy working with children, helping them heal and providing them the skills and confidence to lead happier, healthier lives. I believe in a collaborative health care model and often consult with teachers and other health professionals to provide comprehensive, wraparound support.
